SALT LAKE CITY, May 2, 2013 – The Clark County School District of Nevada announced it has chosen Canvas by Instructure as its new learning platform. The decision is part of a broader effort to align student learning with post-secondary technologies. CCSD is the fifth largest school in the nation, employing more than 15,000 teachers and educating more than 300,000 students annually.
SALT LAKE CITY, April 12, 2013 – Instructure today unveiled Canvas App Center, which allows individual teachers, administrators, and students to install third party apps with one click on the Canvas platform. SALT LAKE CITY, December 18, 2012 – Marian University Indianapolis has completed its migration to Canvas by Instructure and is using the platform in its courses today. Among its many academic offerings, Marian University provides a comprehensive program to prepare Teach For America corps members and The New Teacher Project fellows for their teaching assignments in high-need communities. In 2013, the Marian University College of Osteopathic Medicine will open its doors, becoming the second medical school in the state of Indiana and the only Catholic osteopathic medical school in the nation.
SHORELINE, Wash., December 10, 2012 – Shoreline Community College will transition to the Canvas learning management system. The decision to change was made by President Lee Lambert on Dec. 5 after a significant review period by faculty, students and staff.

The decision came after a six-month evaluation process that reviewed Desire2Learn, Blackboard 9.1, and Instructure Canvas.
COLLEGE PARK, Md., July 16, 2012 – The University of Maryland will adopt Instructure Canvas as its new enterprise learning management system (ELMS), an online learning platform that facilitates teaching, learning, and collaboration among faculty and students.
