Jeremy began his journey in education as a 7th grade science teacher and after trying the 'traditional' approach quickly found that technology was a tool to support and supplement instruction and benefit students. While pursuing his Master's degree in Instructional Technology he introduced many exciting tools to his students, including an LMS, and found that helping other teachers incorporate technology was the next step in his career. He joined the Instructure team in 2015 as a Solutions Engineer and has helped schools around the world evaluate and adopt Canvas as their LMS.
Joel joined the Instructure family in the spring of 2018 after 6 years leading the sales and business development efforts of a social enterprise dedicated to training, educating, and up-skilling adults who were in transition from challenging histories of dependence and incarceration. It was in that role that he got turned onto the transformative products coming out of Instructure, including Practice. In his current role with Instructure, Joel works with current Canvas customers, ensuring that they know all about the great products and services available to them.
